Avrindar is a character who is mentioned in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

History

Background

Little is known about him, except that he is Sri Lankan, and that he and James Pedeaston once had a (possibly sexual) relationship. It is implied that he was underage at the time of their relationship. Pedeaston talks fondly about their relationship on his radio program, The Wild Traveler on West Coast Talk Radio.

James Pedeaston's Travel Log

During the final segment of The Wild Traveler, Pedeaston decides to read his travel log about elephants while waiting for callers. He accidentally read several pages about his time in Sri Lanka with Avrindar, after some of the pages in his journal were stolen by his show's producers team. According to Pedeaston, this is not the first time this happens, and some of his producers have previously threatened to send his journal to the FBI.
