Trivia[]
- In a pre-release demo/beta version of the game, Avalon was originally known as the Civic Center. In a Gamestar test video for GTA 2 (dated September 1999, one month prior to the game's release date), the church was also absent, although its parking lot was still present.[1]
- The neighborhood is likely named after the city of Avalon in the California Channel Islands, Los Angeles County.
