- "Driving a 4x4 around Vinewood Racetrack while someone in short shorts and a monkey mask bays for your blood is the closest any of us are going to get to chariot racing in The Circus Maximus. Give the citizens their bread and games with these straight up, no-excuses laps of the horse track. No togas required."
At the Races is a Land Race featured in Grand Theft Auto Online for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC versions of the game. It is available for up to 30 players. Players must race 2 circuits per "lap" around the dirt track of the Vinewood Racetrack.
On the PS4 and PC version, there is a money glitch that occurs in this race. To start this glitch, everyone must have GTA$10,000 on hand withdrawn from their bank and the host must have "Destroy Last Place" enabled (you can still complete the glitch without it enabled just by completing the race in one lap). While in the race, everyone must bet on themselves using the money. On both platforms, as soon as the race begins and you see your vehicle:
Open to the home menu by pressing the PS button and from there, go to Settings>Date & Time Settings>Change Date & Time and set 2016 to 2017. Go back on the home screen and wait ten seconds. After those ten seconds are up, go back to the Date & Time Settings and switch the year back to 2016 and return to GTA V.
Disconnect your Internet by turning off your Wi-Fi or unplugging the Ethernet cable for six seconds. After six seconds are up, reconnect to your Internet.
Everybody will leave the race and each player and you will automatically win and taking yours and all of the other players' betting money. If each of the 30 players bet themselves GTA$10,000, you can win up to GTA$300,000 per race.
As of December 19th, 2016, the glitch was somewhat hotfixed by reducing to the original betting price of GTA$1,000. Even if 30 players placed their bets, you will now get a max of GTA$15,000.
