The Assault Sniper is a weapon that was cut from the final version of Grand Theft Auto V.
Description[]
The Assault Sniper is a hybrid of the M110 Semi-Automatic Sniper System (handguard and receiver shape) and the Mk 12 Special Purpose Rifle (stock, grip and barrel).
This weapon would have been used by Michael during the mission Lamar Down, as suggested by The Hunt artwork. In the final version of the game, he uses a Heavy Sniper instead. The weapon would have also made an appearance in the heist Blitz Play, according to its artwork.

Trivia[]
- Oddly, the HUD icon places the scope bridging the receiver and handguard, while the artwork and the in-game model leftover places it on the receiver.
- In The Definitive Edition of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, some Assault Sniper rifles can be seen among weapons displayed outside an Ammu-Nation store in San Fierro.
