The Assault MG is a weapon that was cut from the final version of Grand Theft Auto V. The HUD icon and two renders of the weapon can still be found in the game's files.
Description[]
The Assault MG draws inspiration from the German Heckler & Koch HK 21 light machine gun. The stock, however, appears to have been based on the Galil's folding stock.
Like the Beta Combat MG, the weapon features a bipod under the barrel, although it is most likely a cosmetic feature and isn't actually operational.
As seen in the game files, the available attachments were Scope, Extended Clip, and Grip.
