The Articulated Trailer[1] is a towable trailer in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas

The Articulated Trailer is depicted as a twin-axle trailer chassis with functional stands on the front and a large bumper with red tail lights on the rear end, along with two yellow warning stickers reading "LONG VEHICLE". There are three variants that differ in the container/load they carry, and all of them spawn in a white color.

  • The first one, artict1, is a traditional full-size container with two doors on the rear end. It will spawn blank or with the following liveries: Cok O Pops, Hinterland, Munky Juice, Ranch, RS Haul and Zip.
  • The second one, artict2, is a full-size hopper with various handles/frames around. It will spawn empty or loaded with black material.
  • The third one, artict3, is a variant of the first model with a shorter container and a flat section on the rear. It always spawn blank.

The following vehicles can tow any of the three trailers:

As these are large trailers, they make the truck a bit slower and also add length, requiring wide turns to take a corner without hitting them.

Being trailers, they cannot be driven; however, they do feature their own handling lines, which are identical to each other.

  • Like many heavy vehicles, Articulated Trailers are depicted with double rear wheels on the original PS2 version of the game, while other versions depict them with single wheels.
  • In the beta, there was going to be a green artict3-styled trailer intended to be pulled by the Roadtrain. This unused trailer can be found in the game files.
