Altamount is a neighborhood of Downtown District, Anywhere City, in Grand Theft Auto 2.

Description[]

Altamount is located in the southern area of the district, and is bordered by Ukita to the southwest, Funabashi to the west, Avalon to the north, Flotsam to the east and an unknown body of water to the south.

Despite all the vandalism by the gangs in the city, Altamount is neutral in terms of gangs, although one can find graffiti and thieves who will try to mug the protagonist. Altamount is also composed of large, wide alleys and long streets with large sections, as well as square roundabouts in the streets.

Altamont does not have trains or a similar means of transport, although through those long and extensive streets, the neighborhood communicates with its neutral neighbor, Avalon. There are docks in the district as well, where a special tank Kill Frenzy can be found.
