"Alien Crime Lord" is an original song written by Julian Casablancas and The Voidz for The Cayo Perico Heist update for Grand Theft Auto Online, released along with the title update on December 15, 2020.

Description[]

On December 10, 2020, Julian Casablancas, lead singer of The Voidz, announced on his official Facebook page that he wrote an original song that would be released with the next Grand Theft Auto Online update. On December 17, the band performed the song on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Speaking about the song's inspiration, the band shares: “We wanted to make a song that sounded like Jean Claude Van Damme standing up on a speeding motorcycle while firing perfect bullets through the windshield of an oncoming nemesis, then finishing the job with a controlled flip over the top of the vehicle that ends in a maelstrom of denim and flames.” ^[1]

The song premiered on Casablancas's in-game radio station, Kult FM.
