Alexander Roger was a technical director at Rockstar North from 2000 to 2008.
Career[]
Roger joined Rockstar North in October 2000 after leaving university in Glasgow.
He was credited as a programmer or senior programmer on Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories.
In around 2005, Roger was promoted to technical director at Rockstar North, as which he was credited on Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories, Grand Theft Auto IV, The Lost and Damned and Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars.
Some of his main responsibilities included vehicle handling configuration, including helicopters, motorcycles and articulated vehicles, drive-by shooting mechanics, and animation integration for NaturalMotion's Euphoria physics engine, across 3D Universe and HD Universe titles.[1][2]
He left Rockstar in December 2008.
