The Vom Feuer Advanced Rifle is an assault rifle featured in Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online.

The Advanced Rifle is a bullpup assault rifle based on the CTAR-21, a carbine variant of the Israeli TAR-21. It is modeled with a raised scope mount.
It comes with a 30-round magazine and has the option to extend to 60 rounds like the other assault rifles in the game. Oddly, the Advanced Rifle has a rear sight, but no front sight; which would actually make aiming a bit difficult. In the PS4/PC/Xbox One version however, it correctly features a front sight.

The Advanced Rifle has one of the highest damage per shot in its class, sharing it with the Compact Rifle and Heavy Rifle at 34 damage per shot, and shares the same rate of fire as the Bullpup Rifle at 500 rounds per minute, allowing it to remain very competitive among the assault rifles.
The Advanced Rifle is a very well balanced and effective weapon at close and medium range encounters, able to rapidly put shots down range and quickly neutralize targets. The downsides of the weapon manifest in reduced overall accuracy and spread.
This is because the weapon lacks a grip attachment to further stabilize the weapon's recoil and accuracy, resulting in less consistent hits at longer ranges.
It can be equipped with a scope, flashlight, suppressor as well as an extended magazine.

- The Advanced Rifle is first used by Michael during the mission Three's Company.
- Can be picked up by Michael from Epsilon guards during Unknowing the Truth, if Michael decides to betray the cult.
- Unlocked at Ammu-Nation after completing the mission The Big Score, for $3,500.
- Given to both Michael and Franklin if the obvious approach is chosen, each with an extended clip.
Grand Theft Auto Online[]
- It is unlocked at Rank 70 and can be bought from Ammu-Nation, for $14,250.
- Alternatively, it can be found in some online missions such as Saving Ryan's Privates.
Trivia[]
- In the beta, it was more correctly modeled after the CTAR-21 and had a green finish in comparison to the gray version in the finished game. Giving it a green tint will give it a closer resemblance to the CTAR-21.
Oversights[]
- Like the Assault SMG, the Advanced Rifle, if discharged in a burst of 2-3 bullets, will seemingly have a firerate seemingly similar to a minigun.
