Acid Product (or simply Acid) are a series of missions featured in Grand Theft Auto Online as part of the Los Santos Drug Wars update.
Description[]
Supplies are required to keep the acid manufacturing process within the Acid Lab running. When supplies are obtained, Mutt will begin to use the supplies to manufacture acid which will then be sold on.
Supply missions, along with everything else related to the business, can be carried out and collected as either a Motorcycle Club member/president, or as a Organization associate/CEO. Similarly, the business can only be started upon acquisition of the truck, stealing the necessary equipment and paying $750,000 for the installation. Subsequently, the Acid Lab must be outside The Freakshop to run source/sell missions.
When supplies are brought into the lab, the level of supplies indicated at the bottom right of the HUD will go up. When the supplies level is full, it can take up to 3.75 hours for all supplies to be used, but can be shortened with the lab equipment upgrade and also by interacting with a table of chemicals inside the lab, which can be used once per day.
Supplies will only be used up in active sessions, meaing manufacturing will not advance while the player is offline. It will continue the next time the player logs into a session.
Buy Supplies[]
Buying supplies is a simple way of obtaining supplies, and only requires the player to interact with Mutt inside the lab or call him when outside. The player simply makes the purchase and is free to leave and do other activities, and the stock will be delivered in 10 real-time minutes.
A minimum of 20 units (1/5th of a bar) or a maximum of 100 units (one full bar) will be supplied at $600 per unit ($12,000-$60,000 total cost, depending of the supplies' level). It should be noted that, for example, if the supplies' level sits between 0 and 19 units, the player still has to pay $60,000 for the full resupply, but if the supplies' level sit at 20 units and above, one would pay $48,000 for the full resupply. In short, it is preferable to pay for the supplies if the bar sits ahead of each segment rather than behind them.
Steal Supplies[]
The other way of obtaining supplies is by stealing them. Stealing supplies is free of charge, but often requires lengthy drives and care upon delivering. A resupply mission can be started from interacting/calling Mutt or going to the supplies area of the Acid Lab. Once selected, the player will immediately spawn outside the lab with their active personal vehicle nearby. Mutt will call the player informing them of the situation. Once the phone call has been initiated, a GPS marker indicating the primary location will be marked on the map. Resupply missions can often be at the opposite end of the map, depending on the Acid Lab's location.
The player will always be given 30 minutes to obtain the supplies and bring them back to the delivery point. In most circumstances, the player can die as many times as they want, but must note that dying may jeopardize the mission, especially on long journeys back, or during a shootout. There are circumstances where dying will cause the mission to be failed, such as destroying a vehicle with the supplies where it will result in the supplies being destroyed, and thus the mission failing.
Resupply missions will always fill the supply bar by 1/4th, or 25 units, which means that it can take up to four missions to get one full supply bar of 100 units. Unlike other businesses such as The Open Road, stock continues to be produced from any existing supplies while a resupply mission is active, thus resulting in no production downtime.
Unlike Vehicle Cargo or Special Cargo supply missions, Acid Product Supplies have no cooldown timer after delivery, although the player cannot start another resupply mission if the supply bar is full.
Steal Supplies Mission Types[]
Main article: /Steal Missions
Acid Product: Air drop[]
The player must secure a package from a Duster plane, which has been tailed by Merryweather. They have to deal with various enemies, including an APC with a main gunner and two Valkyrie helicopters with a rear gunner each. The supplies must be delivered under enemy pursuit to the Acid Lab wherever it was situated.
Acid Product: Chemical spill[]
The player must obtain a supply from a Humane Labs Boxville, which has tipped over and spilled toxic chemicals on the area. They must deal with the enemies and avoid the toxic fumes and chemical spills to secure the supplies. The supplies must then be delivered to the Acid Lab under enemy pursuit and periodic health damage from the toxic package.
A suit can be found near the spillage. Wearing it will nullify the damage taken from the toxic fumes. However, the spilled chemical pools still lead to periodic health damage.
Acid Product: Deludamol vans[]
The player must obtain a Deludamol Rumpo carrying the supplies, by first going to a depot location, deal with the guards and steal a delivery schedule. After that, they must search three different vans, with only one of the vans containing the required supplies, then evade a three-star wanted level and deliver it to The Freakshop.
Acid Product: Grain trailer[]
The player must steal a Grain trailer with the fungus-infected supplies from the O'Neil Ranch, which is heavily guarded by the O'Neil Brothers. They must collect it with a Fieldmaster tractor and deliver it to the Ace Liquor while being pursued.
Acid Product: Volatile chemicals[]
The player must steal the supplies from a gang-controlled warehouse, locating them and then loading them onto a Mule Custom with a Forklift. After that, they have to deliver the truck to The Freakshop under enemy pursuit, which may also damage the supplies to the point that the player's vision is affected by the leaking chemicals. Further damage may lead to the supplies being eventually destroyed.
Acid Production[]
Acid production rates vary according to whether the Equipment Upgrade has been installed and whether the player has boosted production at their station.
Lab Setup | Value per Unit | Time to produce per Unit | Max Value (160 units) |
Product Name
Changed (~5% boost) |
Time to fill |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Standard | $1,485 | 135 seconds | $237,600 | $249,440 | 21,600 seconds (6 hours) |

Equipment Upgrade | $2,095 | 90 seconds | $335,200 | $351,840 | 14,400 seconds (4 hours) |
With Boost | 45 seconds | 10,800 seconds (3 hours)* | |||
GTA+ Standard | $1,485 | 68 seconds | $237,600 | $249,440 | 10,800 seconds (3 hours) |
With Boost | 34 seconds | 8,100 seconds (2.25 hours)* | |||
GTA+ Upgraded | $2,095 | 45 seconds | $335,200 | $351,840 | 7,200 seconds (2 hours) |
With Boost | 23 seconds | 5,400 seconds (1.5 hours)* |
Notes[]
Production boost can be done by interacting with a table of chemicals inside the Acid Lab, once a real-time day, resetting at 6 a.m. GMT. It lasts until 80 units of stock have been produced, or 24 real-time hours have passed, whichever occurs earlier.
Sell Supplies[]
Once the player has created stock from gathered supplies (at least 10% of the total production), they are able to sell the acid to buyers. The sell missions work very similar to Motorcycle Club's Business sell missions, while the structure is essentially the same as Special Cargo sell missions. The missions vary in structure, however they all involve dropping and delivering packages across Los Santos or Blaine County.
The player is always tasked to ride their Manchez Scout C delivery bikes for the missions.
Sell Supplies Mission Types[]

Acid Product: Paperboy[]
The player must deliver the Acid through ten drop-offs, by throwing packages inside newspapers into small boxes/containers. One of the locations will be guarded by hippies, who will attack the player and pursue them in two vehicles. The location of the hippies may vary between each sell mission.
Acid Product: Stash[]
The player must deliver the Acid to five drop-offs and hide the packages by choosing one of the three possible locations within each drop-off. Some locations will not have any complications, but others are being watched by undercover police, who will pursue the player if they are spotted making the drop-off. The location of the police officers may vary between each sell mission.
Acid Product: Police sting[]
The player must deliver the Acid on a single drop-off, which will be a Washington marked on the top floor of a parking garage. However, as soon as the player is about to deliver the product, a wanted level is triggered and several officers will ambush the player, appearing from various undercover vehicles, a helicopter taking off from nearby and trucks blocking the entry/exit points. The player must evade the wanted level and find an alternative location, which will be a Benson truck ready for the player to drive the bike inside the cargo box, then leaving the area.
Street Dealers[]
Instead of selling all of their product in one mission, players can also choose to sell off a small number of units per day to three Street Dealers located around San Andreas. While this can potentially net the player more money in the long run, it all depends on the dealers offering more than what the acid is worth, and at 10 units per dealer, it would take a very long time to sell off the entire stock.
