Retired Versions[]
These versions featured 33 achievement/trophies each (with the 33rd being the platinum trophy The Key to San Andreas on PS3 and PS4 and Trickster on X360). Of these individual 34:
- 29 were carried to the Definitive Edition in one form or another:
- 20 as gameplay achievements;
- 8 (Get a Pump, Beat the Cock, Metrosexual, Represent, Assert Yourself Next Time, Serial Offender, Freight Date, Time to Kill) as Social Club achievements;
- The Key to San Andreas was renamed I Ain't No Buster and carried doubly: as the PS5 platinum trophy and as a Social Club achievement.
- 5 were scrapped (Hustle some, Trickster, Home Run, The Los Santos Slayer, Grove Street War Lord).
Definitive Edition[]
This version features as follows.
- 34 achievements/trophies (35 on PS5 only, with I Ain't No Buster being the platinum trophy). Of these:
- 20 are carried over from the PS4 version;
- 14 (With Extra Dip, Hoopin' it Up, I'll Have Two Number 9s, Who Needs Directions?, Liberty City State of Mind, Swiss Army Strife, They Can't Stop All of Us, Smooth Moves, Lucky Spinner, Not a Player, Today Was a Good Day, Ain't Nothing But a G Thing, Remastered, ...Here we go again) are new.
- 48 Social Club achievements. Of these:
- 34 overlap the gameplay achievements;
- 13 are Social Club-exclusive, with 5 being new (Sticky Fingers, 81 Years Too Late, Where'd He Go?, High As a Kite, Lots of Guns) and 8 being previous gameplay achievements/trophies in the retired versions (read above);
- I Ain't No Buster is unlocked by attaining all other 47 Social Club achievements in the same playthrough.
