Not to be confused with 60 Diner.
The pie here will warm anyone's cold heart. Stop in for classic diner fare as you wonder why it's on Bart Street.
GTA IV Manual Description

69th Street Diner is a casual restaurant in Grand Theft Auto IV, Episodes from Liberty City and Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars in Hove Beach, Broker, Liberty City. It is located on the southwest corner of Bart Street and Mohawk Avenue. The restaurant is the scene of Tom Rivas' murder in Out of the Closet in Grand Theft Auto IV.

Description[]

Who could resist its greasy allure?
GTA IV Website

The restaurant is located at the intersection of Bart Street and Mohawk Avenue in Hove Beach, Broker. Niko, Johnny, or Luis can replenish their health by walking inside and buying a burger at the counter for $1. The trio are also able to take their friends or girlfriends to the diner for a meal. Several members of the Russian Mafia can be found both within and around the diner, and they will retaliate if the player engages in gunfire.

From the outside, the 69th Street Diner exhibits a slightly worn 1950s-style appearance. Inside, the décor includes several booths and stools that continue this vintage theme. The diner features two entrances—one on the side and another at the front facing Bart Street—adopting the well-known sterling streamliner style typical of retro diners. Despite the building's age and worn décor, it appears to be fairly popular.

The diner is featured on the in-game travel guide website Peep That Shit, under the "Bars & Restaurants" section, where it is considered a "Critics' Choice".

Influence[]

The railcar-inspired building design may take inspiration from the now-closed Blue Sky Diner at 21-01 49th Ave, Long Island City, Queens.[1][2]
