The Annis 300R is a fastback coupé appearing in Grand Theft Auto Online as part of the Los Santos Drug Wars update.
Description[]
The 300R was released as part of the Los Santos Drug Wars update. It was initially released for purchase for 2 weeks, before being made unavailable. It has since been re-added and removed numerous times (see Change History). It was made permanently available with the release of the San Andreas Mercenaries update.
Influence[]
The 300R appears to be based on the Nissan Z (RZ34), with the front grille sharing styling from the Fairlady Z Customized Proto. The headlights seem to be borrowed from the Nissan S30 series, albeit with a modernized approach.
Liveries[]
- The "Retro Rally" livery is based on the design for the 1970 BRE Datsun 240Z (S30).
Design[]
The car appears as a sleek 2-door coupe with Japanese styling. The front features particularly large round headlights set into the fenders, and a large Annis badge mounted on the hood. The side profile features air curtains positioned in front of and behind the front fenders. Behind the quarter glass windows on the C pillar are "300R" badges on either side. The rear features a set of large tail lights consisting of several strips of LED lamps. On the inner sides are the reversing lights. An Annis and 300R badge are also found on the rear, just below the trunk compartment. The rear tail opens up complete, with the trunk lid and the glass window attached.
The interior of the car is shared with cars like the Nero, the Nero Custom and the XA-21, bearing the corresponding Annis logo on the horn cap. The area behind the seats is open and only has two frames/panels separating the cabin and the luggage compartment.
The primary color of the car is applied to the bodywork and the interior stitching, while the secondary color is applied to the mirror shells and the brake calipers. A trim color is also available for most of the interior. Although not accessible, a dial color is also available for the analog dials and the "Skull/Camo Engine Cover" options (as they are reused from cars like the Remus and the RT3000), which is set to black on purchased examples. It uses a set of rims that are identical to the "Synthetic Z" sports rims available in Los Santos Customs and other mod shops, and can also support a dedicated color (although only naturally-generated examples may have one).
Performance[]
Vehicle[]
The 300R is powered by a twin-cam straight-4 engine, coupled to a 6-speed gearbox in a front-engine, rear wheel drive layout. It shares the high-revving sound from cars like the Coquette, the Euros and the ZR380.
Features[]
The 300R, along with selected Imani Tech vehicles, can be modified with a Remote Control Unit, which allows the ability to drive the vehicle remotely, similar to the RC Bandito and the Invade and Persuade Tank. Note that this feature cannot be kept if the Missile Lock-on Jammer is installed, and that the camera is always set to first-person view.
Armor/Defense[]
When the Armor Plating upgrade is equipped, the vehicle is given armor padding on the sides in a similar manner to the armored vehicles featured in the Executives and Other Criminals update. However, it gives a higher resistance to explosives in general. Unlike the vehicles from The Contract update, it lacks bulletproof windows, but it does not appear with a unique radar blip (features also present on the Greenwood and the Omnis e-GT).
The 300R, along with selected Imani Tech vehicles, can be modified with a Missile Lock-on Jammer, which prevents the lock-on system of the Homing Launcher and other weaponised vehicles from locking onto it. Note that it cannot be kept if the Remote Control Unit is installed.
Weapons[]
The vehicle has the option to install Slick Proximity Mines (green flashing light), which burst a large amount of oil on the surface, causing vehicles passing over it to lose control. This deals no damage to either vehicles or players.
Modifications[]
The vehicle can be customised in Los Santos Customs and other mod shops, although special upgrades (tagged with ) are only available at the vehicle workshop inside Agencies.

Prominent Appearances in Gameplay[]
The Chop Shop[]
- An orange 300R is featured as an optional vehicle in the Getaway Vehicle task, as part of the Salvage Yard's Gangbanger Robbery.
Rockstar Games Social Club[]
Oversights[]
- The "Removed Hood" option erroneously attaches a placeholder "null" part to the bonnet's root position instead of the car's chassis root position, leaving visible placeholder polygons in place of the bonnet, above the dashboard. The player can still visibly open/close it via the Interaction Menu.
- At certain angles, the player can see through the inside of the fender liners, due to them being offset from the actual wheel arches.
- There are some UV mapping errors:
- The Annis emblem on both ends and on the interior have a thin line on the lower right side, which is actually the top edge of the letter "R" from the car's name in the texture file.
- Similarly, the letter "R" from the "300R" badges have a small pixel near the top left edge, being actually part of the Annis emblem.
- The strut brace inside the trunk is incorrectly mapped, causing certain liveries to show a "stripe" on the left side of the bar.
- The mirrors and Imani Tech armor were originally mapped too closely to the edge of the template, causing colors from the opposite edge of the livery textures to bleed over and leave a "gradient" on them when applied. This has been fixed in later updates.
- The Annis emblem on both ends and on the interior have a thin line on the lower right side, which is actually the top edge of the letter "R" from the car's name in the texture file.
Radio Stations[]
- In Grand Theft Auto Online, the default radio stations are grouped by genre. The 300R uses the "Pop" group which can play:

Trivia[]
- The name 300R may be a reference to the 1996–1998 Nismo 400R (R33).
- The name may also be a reference to the rumoured model name "400Z", before Nissan announced the official name "(Fairlady) Z".
